Negotiation positions, board discussions, pricing and personnel matters all carry commercial value. A device costing under one hundred dollars placed in a meeting room can capture all of it, and almost none are ever found, because nobody looks with the right equipment.

The trigger is rarely a discovered device. It is a pattern. A competitor consistently anticipating a position. Terms appearing externally that were discussed in one room. A negotiation that moves against you in ways that track internal discussion too closely.
Sometimes it is simpler. A departing executive with a grievance. A dispute where the other side seems unusually well informed. A landlord handover where you have no idea what is already installed in the space you just leased.
A sweep answers a specific question: is there a technical explanation for this, or do you need to look at people and process instead. Both answers are useful. Only one of them you can find with equipment.

Rooms where sensitive discussion happens on a schedule are the single highest value target in any building. Anyone wanting information knows when and where to listen.
Where strategy, personnel and financial matters are discussed one to one and by phone, often with fewer people around to notice an unfamiliar object.
Vehicles carry both conversation and movement data. Trackers and audio devices are fast to fit, purpose built to avoid discovery, and essentially never found without professional inspection.
A pre-occupancy sweep establishes what is in the walls and fittings before you move sensitive operations into a space somebody else controlled.

Most clients do not want staff speculating about why technicians are in the boardroom. We attend outside operating hours where the site allows it, arrive in unmarked vehicles and plain clothing, and carry equipment in unbranded cases.
Where a daytime attendance is unavoidable, we can present as facilities, AV or electrical contractors. The cover is agreed with you in advance and we hold to it. Nobody on site needs to know the actual purpose beyond the people you choose to tell.

A short executive summary written to be read by people who are not technical, stating plainly whether anything was found and what it means commercially. Behind that, the full technical record: scope, spectra covered, equipment deployed, every area cleared, and detail on anything located.
Where a device is recovered we maintain chain of custody so the material remains usable if the matter becomes legal or is referred to police.
