// 01 - Who We Work With
We coordinate directly with case managers to schedule sweeps around a client's safety plan. Our operators are trained in trauma-informed practice and work at the client's pace.
Our sweep reports are prepared with court proceedings in mind - chain of custody documentation, device photographs, frequency logs, and professional testimony support for AVO applications and family court matters.
Safe Sweep can attend jointly with DV police units or provide independent documentation in support of criminal investigation. We liaise directly with the investigating officer to ensure findings are admissible.
We provide facility sweeps for refuges and incoming resident protocols. If a resident carries a tracked device into a safe house, it puts everyone at risk. See our dedicated refuge page for details.
Practitioners working with DV clients may themselves become surveillance targets. We provide professional sweep services for practice premises and can advise on operational security.
Safe Sweep documentation has been prepared for use in AVO proceedings, family court, and criminal matters. We can provide expert witness statements and attend proceedings if required.
// 02 - What Our Reports Cover
Every Safe Sweep produces a detailed written report prepared to professional TSCM standards. The report includes:
A full description of the detection methods used, the equipment deployed, and the areas covered. This establishes the professional basis for the findings.
Photographs, physical description, location, and technical identification of any devices found. Chain of custody documentation for each device from point of discovery.
Where applicable, RF frequency logs showing transmissions detected, signal strength, and analysis of what those transmissions indicate about the device type and capability.
Operator qualifications, TSCM certification details, and the professional basis for the assessment. Required for the report to be accepted in legal proceedings.
// 03 - Pro-Bono and Reduced Fee Arrangements
Safe Sweep operates a pro-bono and reduced-fee programme for high-risk DV cases where the client cannot afford a commercial sweep. If you are referring a client in this category, contact us directly to discuss the arrangement.
We assess pro-bono requests on a case-by-case basis, prioritising situations involving active physical danger, children, or refuge locations.
