// Events & Functions
Conferences, AGMs, launches and private functions need more than a door list. Our technicians have worked in the events industry, so we know production equipment on sight. We deliver technical sweeps, explosive detection K9 searches and licensed armed personnel as a single engagement.

An event venue in build is the hardest environment in this industry to sweep, and the easiest place in the world to hide a device. A single ballroom can hold dozens of wireless microphone channels, in ear monitor transmitters, DMX lighting control, wireless DMX, comms packs, video links, timecode, streaming encoders, network bridges, WiFi access points and a rack full of unlabelled black boxes that all legitimately transmit.
That density is exactly the point. A covert device on an event floor is not hiding in an empty room. It is hiding in plain sight, in a rack, on a truss, in a comms case, among a hundred other things that look and behave just like it. An operator who does not know production equipment has two ways to fail. They chase every legitimate transmitter as a threat and deliver a report full of noise, or they write off a genuine device as part of the show.
Our technicians have worked in the events industry. We know what a radio mic receiver looks like, what a wireless DMX node is doing on that frequency, why the encoder rack is talking to the internet and what a comms base station is supposed to draw. We can read a patch, follow a cable run, and tell the difference between a device that belongs to the production and a device that is pretending to.
The most effective place to conceal a device at an event is inside the production itself. A small transmitter in an unused rack slot. An extra unit in a comms case. Something cable tied to a truss among forty other boxes. It reads as part of the show to anyone who does not know the show. Knowing the difference is not a detail on the margins of this work. On an event floor it is the entire job.

Because we speak the same language as your production crew, the sweep does not become an obstruction. We can work alongside the AV company and the production manager during build without needing everything explained twice or halting the schedule.
In practice that means we ask the production team for the RF plan and the equipment list up front, baseline the legitimate transmitters so they are accounted for before we start looking for anything else, and work around the build sequence rather than against it. Where something is unclear we ask the crew directly rather than guessing.
It also means our findings are credible to the people who need to act on them. If we flag something in a rack, the production manager knows we understood what we were looking at before we raised it.

Serious event security is not one service. It is three distinct capabilities that have to work to the same timeline, in the same rooms, under one plan. Run them separately and the gaps between them are where the risk sits.
Full spectrum RF analysis, non linear junction detection, optical lens detection and thermal imaging across every room in scope. Finds transmitting devices, dormant recorders and concealed optics. Delivered by Safe Sweep directly.
Safe SweepLicensed handler and dog teams conducting room clearance, bag search and perimeter sweeps prior to guest access. Deployed after the technical sweep and before the room is sealed, so the space is cleared on both fronts at once. Delivered through our vetted security partners.
Partner deliveredArmed close protection and static security for principals, high profile speakers, controversial proceedings and elevated threat environments. Fully licensed, briefed into the same operational plan as the sweep and K9 teams. Delivered through our vetted security partners.
Partner deliveredYou brief us once. We build the plan, coordinate the K9 and armed teams through our security partners, liaise with the venue, and run it as a single operation with one point of contact. You are not managing three suppliers who have never worked together.

Sequence matters. Run in the wrong order, each capability undoes the work of the one before it.
Technical sweep of all rooms in scope once staging, AV and furniture are in place. Sweeping before build is close to pointless because the room changes completely afterwards.
Explosive detection teams work the cleared rooms, back of house, delivery areas and perimeter. Conducted immediately after the technical sweep so both clearances hold to the same moment.
Tamper indicators applied to doors, service panels, ceiling access and cable runs. Access logged from this point. Both the technical and K9 clearance remain valid while the seal is intact.
Licensed personnel deployed to agreed positions before guest arrival, briefed on the sealed room plan and the access log so security and technical are working from the same picture.
Seals checked immediately before proceedings. Intact seals mean both clearances still stand. Broken seal triggers a re-sweep of the affected zone before release.

Political figures, executives under public scrutiny, or anyone whose attendance is publicly known in advance. Technical, K9 and armed coverage together.
AGMs facing activist interest, contentious announcements, or events attracting organised opposition. Threat is both physical and informational.
Strategy offsites, closed door investor sessions and embargoed launches where the risk is information rather than physical.
High net worth private events where guest privacy and media exclusion drive the requirement. Usually technical plus discreet personnel.
We scope honestly. If an event genuinely only needs a technical sweep, we will tell you that rather than selling capability you do not need. Equally, if the profile warrants K9 and armed coverage, we will say so plainly.

We deal with venue operations directly so you are not relaying requirements between three parties. That covers access timing around the build schedule, which rooms can be sealed and which cannot, where venue staff still need entry, K9 access arrangements and handler requirements, and where licensed armed personnel can and cannot be positioned under the venue's own conditions.
Most venues accommodate the full protocol once it is explained properly. Where a venue places limits on any element, we tell you exactly what that means for the plan and what the alternatives are, before you commit.
// FAQ
Give us the venue, dates and profile. We will come back with a plan covering the technical sweep and whether K9 and armed coverage are warranted.
Tell us the venue, the dates, the profile of the event and any known concerns. We will scope all three capabilities.
