A sweep is a point in time result. A room cleared on Tuesday and used on Friday was clear on Tuesday. Sealing closes the gap between the sweep and the moment the room actually matters.

Technical sweeps are often treated as though they confer lasting security. They do not. They confirm that at the moment of inspection, using those methods, across that scope, nothing was present.
Every hour afterwards, that statement weakens. Not because the sweep was wrong, but because the room remained accessible. The question is never just was the room clear, it is has the room stayed clear since. Sealing is what lets you answer the second question.
// 02
Sealing is not locking the door. It is applying indicators to every route by which something could be introduced, so that disturbance leaves a visible trace.
That means door seams, but also ceiling tiles and access hatches, floor boxes and cable runs, service panels, AV racks and equipment cabinets, and windows where relevant. Each carries a uniquely identifiable indicator, recorded at application, and checked at verification.
Alongside the physical indicators sits an access regime. Where entry is genuinely required, by cleaners or venue staff, it is logged with time, person and purpose, so any seal break is explained rather than mysterious.

Broken seals happen. A cleaner enters, a venue technician needs to reach an AV rack, someone opens the wrong door. The protocol exists precisely so that this is visible rather than invisible.
At verification we compare seal state against the access log. An explained break is assessed on what was accessed and by whom. An unexplained break triggers a re-sweep of the affected zone before the room is released for use, and the decision is documented either way.
The value is not that seals are never broken. It is that you know when one was, by whom, and what was done about it, rather than walking into a room on an assumption.
