Executive and principal protection

The most sensitive conversations an executive has are rarely in the office. They happen at home, in the car, and in hotel suites in other cities, which are exactly the spaces least likely to have ever been checked.

// Principal coverage
  • Private residences including holiday properties and any address used for work discussion.
  • Personal and company vehicles full chassis, interior, OBD and RF inspection.
  • Hotel suites and accommodation swept before occupation during significant travel.
  • Yachts and private aviation cabins and conference spaces where in use for business.
  • Absolute discretion coordinated through whoever the principal nominates.

Why the residence is the gap

Corporate security spends heavily on the office and almost nothing on the principal's home. Yet that is where the confidential call is taken, where the draft is read aloud, where the frank conversation with a spouse about a pending decision happens.

It is also a softer target. Domestic staff, contractors, cleaners, trades, deliveries and guests all pass through a residence with far less scrutiny than a corporate floor, and each is an opportunity to place a device that will never be looked for.

Travel and temporary spaces

Hotel suites

// Pre-occupancy

A suite is a room anyone could have booked the night before. For sensitive travel, a pre-occupancy sweep before the principal checks in is the standard measure.

Vehicles

// Continuous exposure

The vehicle hears more candid discussion than any meeting room, and is accessible in any car park for however long it sits there.

Private aviation

// Cabin

Cabins used for business discussion in transit, swept between charters or before a significant flight.

Yachts and vessels

// Onboard

Saloons and conference spaces on vessels used for entertaining or business, with crew turnover a relevant exposure.

How we handle discretion

Principal work is arranged entirely through whoever the executive nominates, which may be a chief of staff, an EA, a family office or head of security. We do not need to deal with the principal directly unless they want that.

Attendance is unmarked and unbranded, timed around the household or travel schedule, and presented in whatever way the client prefers to domestic staff. Findings go to the nominated contact only, and where a principal engagement sits inside a broader corporate program it can be reported entirely separately.

Common questions

Do you work with existing close protection teams?
Yes, routinely. TSCM complements physical protection and we integrate with an existing detail, working to their operational tempo and reporting through their team lead where that is the preference.
Can you sweep hotel rooms before an executive arrives?
Yes. Pre-occupancy suite sweeps are a standard part of sensitive travel. It requires access before check in, which we coordinate with the property or through your travel team.
How do you keep the engagement discreet from household staff?
We attend unmarked and unbranded, and present in whatever way you prefer, commonly as security system or AV technicians. The cover is agreed in advance and we hold to it.
Is this separate from the company's TSCM program?
It can be either. Many enterprise programs include principal coverage with separate reporting lines so personal findings are not distributed with organisational ones. We structure it however you need.
